K3-K5 trip to Higashine Park
The K3-K5 students went to Higashine Park and Playground last week to enjoy some outside activities and burn energy before getting down for some serious Spring Concert practice that’s coming up soon.
Although we saw some snow here and there the kids were happy to run around for a few hours and to eat a special snack — everything tastes so much better when eaten under the sky, even heavy gray ones!
They figured out how to balance their weights on the sea-saw, tiptoed with caution on the suspension bridge, and got the hang of the zip line in no time! They giggled and shrieked with joy and the sprinkling of snow added that much more excitement to the outing.
After all, the cold never bothered us anyway.
