Description begins in the writer’s imagination but should finish in the readers’s. Stephen King
For Halloween, the fourth graders combined creativity with new tech skills in a fun and engaging writing activity. After learning how to use Microsoft Word, they typed their original stories. The twist? They rolled a dice to choose key story elements – like the character, setting, time and problem before writing. This activity encouraged creative thinking while also helping students practiced typing and formatting. They even draw their own illustrations to go along with their stories. Great job, everyone, on such a creative and fun writing project!
