Landscape Painting

Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up. Pablo Picasso

Take a blank piece of paper, any piece of paper will do. Add even the simplest of brush strokes, and your paper has been reborn as something new, something noble: Art.  Art is what separates humans from other living things. We create art for the sake of beauty. Grade three students have been making various kinds of painting, from abstract paintings to more recently landscapes. They learned techniques to make the ideas and images in their brains and put them on the paper. Using watercolor paints, they painted a few trees, some mountains, the sky and some water,  and suddenly a landscape was born. Their very own magical and unique place immortalized on paper for others to enjoy. Painting landscapes allows the beautiful ideas that are inside the students to be seen by the rest of the world.
