It’s December! The students in K5 continue to work hard. We are learning to count forward and backward and now moving on to addition in our math class. We are reading stories that are focused on short vowels. The students also started to read and write short sentences with some sight words. In our science class, we are learning about “Plants”. Students collect colored leaves and acorns everyday during the outside time.

Students are super excited about Christmas! This month is full of fun events. Students are being introduced to some Christmas songs during circle time. We made special crafts for this holiday season. We decorated our Christmas Tree and picked names for our “Christmas Gift Exchange“. We will have a pajama party with “Cereal Buffet”. And of course they can’t wait to see Santa!! We want to make sure to be “good”, so Santa will come to our school.
