Formal education teaches how to stand, but to see the rainbow you must come out and walk many steps on your own. - Amit Ray
To further explore about kindergarten’s September theme of “Safety,” the K4/K5 students went for a walk to a park on an Indian summer morning. We covered about traffic safety in class through discussions, crafts, and songs so it was time to put our knowledge to the test!
The new K5 students were old pros walking in a neat straight line, watching out for cars and bicycles, paying attention to traffic lights, looking both ways before crossing roads, and raising their hands high as we trekked across railroad tracks. The rest of us followed their footsteps and walked with caution remembering what we learned during Safety Week.
Green light ahead to many more fun and safe adventures!
