K2 Practice and Play in the Classroom: Menu Orders
“Play is the highest form of research”- Albert Einstein
K2 students had fun playing restaurant while simultaneously practicing their numbers. Together with their teacher they practiced giving and taking order, such as giving “2 cookies please”. Not only did they enjoy this activity but everyone was quick to correctly grab their “food orders”. Interactive activities like these are not only good ways to help reinforce vocabulary and math skills, but it gives them a creative way to expand their play time too!
