“Love the animals, love the plants, love everything. If you love everything, you will perceive the divine mystery in things.” Fyodor Dostoevsky
The kindergarten classes went on the field trip to Zoorasia in Yokohama. It’s one of the most modern zoos in Japan, with spacious enclosures most closely resembling the animals’ natural habitats. It’s surrounded by lots of trees not too far away from our school.
The students enjoyed seeing various African savanna animals such as lions, zebras, giraffes and rhinos. The meerkats were so cute!
We walked along the path viewing the various habitats of our favorite animals, including some rare animals.
After our picnic lunch, we had so much fun playing at the okapi park and the big jungle gym with the long slide!
