Timeline matters when studying history, especially dating back to the ancient times. It can be struggling for children because of the assortment of events, dates, and even names. In our social studies, G3 and 4 students made their personal timeline highlighting the important events of their lives. This activity helped them think through the events in chronological order and understand the past.

Though some of them were reluctant to share at first, they ended up sharing more details after seeing some of their classmate’s output. Everyone is now excited to individually present their timeline in the class soon!
