Field Trip
Last week, the winter school students went on a school trip to Yokohama to go ice skating. After arriving, they took a sea bus to the Christmas market. There they had lunch and explored the market for a bit and the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse. Afterwards, it was time for some fun on the ice!
The winter school children that attend our school come from many different countries and many of them had never been skating before. Some of our teachers are experienced skaters and taught our students the basics. They also ensured that the children got the most out of the experience that they could. This experience allowed them to take risks and allow them to believe that they can achieve anything that they set their mind on. Experiences like this allow children to believe in themselves and are invaluable for teaching them that there is more in life to experience.
Many of the students said that it was the best school trip they had ever been on!
